Teen Therapy

Being a teenager can be overwhelming.

There’s a LOT coming at you.

Pressure from school…

Confusing, frustrating friendships…

Family expectations…

Figuring out who you are…

Anxiety, depression, and self-doubt…

No one seems to understand you…

Perhaps you’re here because your parents suggested therapy…

Or you may have decided on your own that you need a space to talk with someone objective.

Whatever brought you here, I see you.

I help teens (14 and older) work through tough emotions, stress, and life changes.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or just need someone to help you sort things out…

You are not alone.

Therapy is a place where you can be real, say what’s on your mind, and start figuring out how to feel more like you again.

Here’s what we’ll do…

A big part of therapy is looking at your negative thinking and replacing it with thoughts that are more balanced, realistic, and actually helpful. It’s about shifting the way you see yourself and the world so things feel a little lighter.

Sometimes, we’ll just talk. Other times, we might try specific exercises to help with anxiety, stress, or emotions that feel too big.

We’ll work on real-life skills: setting boundaries, stopping the spiral over every little thing, and handling difficult situations without shutting down or lashing out.

I’m not here to “fix” you… because you’re not broken. I want to help you feel a little better, though.

I offer a free consultation to see if we’d be a good fit. Give me a call: (813) 501-5556.
